PRCS PTO is sponsoring THINK Week, a special initiative to encourage students to pause and reflect before speaking. We believe that thinking before we speak is one of the most important parts of being truly kind. The acronym THINK reminds us to ask ourselves: Is it True? Is it Helpful? Is it Inspiring? Is it Necessary? Is it Kind? By following these simple questions, we can all learn to communicate with more care and kindness.

We will be focusing on Bullying Prevention Awareness this month. To show our support, we invite students to participate in Unity Day on Wednesday, October 16th, by wearing orange. This is a visible way to promote kindness, acceptance, and inclusion in our community as we stand together against bullying.

On Wednesday, October 23rd, the PTO and our PSW, Ms. Tracy Lara and Intern PSW, Ms. Krissia, will be hosting a special lunch time activities on campus to reinforce our anti-bullying message and the THINK campaign.

The PTO is also sponsoring special guest speakers for assemblies across all grades. We’re excited to have these events on Thursday, October 24th for elementary students and Friday, October 25th for middle school students. These assemblies will further encourage kindness, empathy, and standing up against bullying.

Important Dates to Remember:
• Wednesday, October 16th, 2024 – Wear orange to show unity and support for bullying prevention.
• Wednesday, October 23rd, 2024 – Special THINK Week lunch time activity hosted by the PTO and PSW, Ms. Tracy Lara and Intern PSW, Ms. Krissia.

We encourage you to engage your children in conversations about these important topics. Together, we can create a kinder, more inclusive community.
